Happy New Year!

I always find the New Year hard. I find that when it comes I'm not usually ready to get back into the swing of things. Slowly my routine has started to come back and I'm finding myself on the computer more once again. I really enjoyed Christmas this year. My family came here for Christmas which meant no travelling for us this year. Cam was off from the 21st to the 2nd which I really enjoyed. Of course he had some of his own work to do, but we got a lot of family time in. We took the girls to the little sledding hill at the school and took turns on our crazy carpets. Mya had a lot of fun and even walked up the hill by herself everytime.

But one thing that is making it hard to get back into routine is the dreaded flu. It attacked me on Saturday, Madison on Sunday and Chloe today. Fun, fun, fun. I'm just hoping that it stops here.

I really want to post some more pictures, but until I clear some of the ones already on the computer, I can't load anymore on it.

I hope everyone had a great Christmas and a very Happy New Year! I'm not one for resolutions, but maybe this year I might make a couple of small ones. Not sure yet.

Now I Remember!!

Tonight really made me remember how much I really hate cutting little boys hair!! There are some rare exceptions to the case where a boy will love having his hair cut and will sit very still in order to get a treat after. But this was not the case for me tonight when I cut my nephews hair. It wouldn't be so bad if I could just use the scissors the whole time. But no. They wanted him to have a ceasar cut, which means using the clippers on the back and sides. Well, I think we had to try this about five times before I could even come close!! Then to do little touch ups without him moving was next to impossible!! Ahh! Now I'm dreading seeing him on Sunday to see where I may have screwed up. Maybe this is one of the reasons I don't completely miss doing hair in a shop! lol

A Loss

I'm am feeling a little down right now. I have just realized that I have lost the bracelet Cam gave me for Christmas three years ago. I have looked everywhere I can, and fear for the worst. I think it may be gone forever.

Today was a very busy day of shopping, so if it was lost at either of the malls that we were at, I'm sure it will never be on my wrist again. I feel bad that I lost it. But after so many years of wearing it, it became a part of me and I didn't notice that it was gone until I took off my sweater and went to see if it was sitting properly. So either I keep looking or find something to take my mind off of it. sigh.

Silent Night

And now the story!!

The reason I posted this commercial ad is a couple of reasons. I love the babies and think that it is the cutest thing. But the main reason is that at any time during the day, this commercial comes on. All of a sudden you hear these little feet pounding on the floor, running as fast as they can to get into the living room to watch this commercial. Mya is so inlove with it that she needs to run into the room and watch it every time! Then she gets so excited yelling "Baby!! Baby!! hehe" Once it's over she runs back to wherever it was she was before and carries on like nothing happened. It is just so adorable. When I found it on youtube she was right beside me. I think I played it at least 5x just for her before I could get her to leave.

So that's my little story, a little delayed but it got here!
